A chance for you to win!
We’ve had a few contests on our Facebook page, but it’s actually a little easier to post on the blog. So here you go: Be the first to solve today’s puzzle and you will win a bundle of fabulous and free software: ScreenFlow 2.0, Flip4Mac Studio, and VideoCue.
This should be a fairly easy one… good luck!
CONTEST DIRECTIONS:
Read the clues below, and be the first to post the answer to the “FINAL STEP” in the comments below. To be fair, please only post the final answer. Ready? Good luck…
Clue 1: The last name of this man, who was arguably the most famous in his profession; he was born in 1874. (Hint: there is a clue to his profession in this picture.)
Clue 2: The name of the most famous painting done by this artist who died at the age of 80
Clue 3: The name of a Telestream product used for live webcasting
Final Step:
Combine the 3 answers from your 3 clues above to form one long word. This will be the name of a video hidden somewhere on the web. In that video you will find a phrase. The first to “comment” with the exact phrase found in the video wins!

Sure, I googled “born in 1874 handcuffs” that immediately brought me to Houdini. Then I googled famous artist died at 80, and sifted thru several results and saw the name Munch. I knew his most famous painting was the Scream. I figured this was it. The product was easy (already knew it from telestream) of wirecast. Hopped over to YouTube (took a chance it wasn’t vimeo.com this time). Punched in “houdinithescreamwirecast”, found the video, saw the message. Then the hard part, figuring out how to comment on the blog, took me a few seconds to figure that out, and then I just typed the message like a mad man.

Capitalization? You did specify ‘exact’.

Lee, you have a very good point. In all the excitement, I didn’t notice that the capitalization in the accepted winning answer was not EXACTLY typed as it was in the video. Therefore, since you were the first person to post the EXACT correct answer, to be fair, I’m going to have to award you as well.
Thanks for keeping me to my word.
I will contact you via email with your winning software.

That’s very generous and I’m most grateful! Sincerely. Of interest perhaps, I just purchased Wirecast a week ago from thevideoguys. Of additional interest perhaps… although I’m now in Montréal Quebec, I lived for thirty years in Pioneer California. Got a lifetime membership to KVMR, even. So, howdy neighbors! And thank you very much! Bonne année!
