As sometimes happens in software development, soon after we released ScreenFlow version 4.0.4 last week, we got several support calls reporting a particular problem with activating the license.
This appears to only affect about 10% of users, but as a result we have decided to pull version 4.0.4 from our store until we can get the issue fixed rather than to keep it available and risk frustrating a lot of people.
(For the 90% of you who upgraded to 4.0.4 without incident – you can happily continue to use version 4.0.4 and disregard this message.)
We are actively working to fix the problem. In the meantime, 4.0.3 is available for sale on our site, and 4.0.4 will continue to be available on the Mac App Store.
