    HOTKEYS!

we need better hotkey support for start/stop and different camera shots so i can use them with remote keyboard and other similar tools from the ipad for remote control.

    Hi,
agree with phil campbell (hotkeys better support)
    and I add:

MIDI control flexible (like easy mapping, with learning mode: click on a thing to trig, send a MIDI message from your controller, and that’s it)!
With MIDI it’s possible to do amazing things…

A good thing is a single shots have the abiliyty to play a list of média, triggered by a button, hotkey, MIDI, and each média with litlle cue point editor (beggining, end, loop point) and volume or alpha channel enveloppe, and a “next action ” control (stop, auto-follow, loop x times, random next in the list).

In the same way, a cue list with all layers, to program automatic shows, or replays programs…

Another is the ability to set the opacity value of layers (midi contolled of course), and at last but not least… set the opacity (or level) of EACH shot !! (midi controled of course).

In short, what I dream, is Wirecast to be contolled fully by a Mackie Control… one page with all my visual (caméras, clips, titles…), one page with all my audio souces (inputs, from video clips etc.)

    But since that, it’s work great! amazing… I wich I have some$ to buy a Pipeline HD…

I would really like the ability for Wirecast to have a virtual video device so i can output into Skype. This is very important so that we can send remote Wirecast mix’s via skype for our remote feeds.

Support for adaptive bitrate(or “Dynamic Streaming” in Adobe’s terminology.)
Or have a virtual video output, so we can use that as input for Flash Media Live Encoder(FMLE), which supports dynamic streaming.

    1. Let’s get the preview and the broadcast windows to swap. Please! This request has been put off too long.
    2. Also, a timeline slider, or a count down clock, under the broadcast window for video clips (and even audio clips too) that shows how far along the video is. Generally, it’s good information to have when any audio or video clip is running. For me, it would make my streams go smoother because I use many different video and audio clips and don’t know how long each one is. They can end abruptly and I can be caught streaming a black screen.
